GREGORY A. MESCHER is an attorney licensed in Illinois and Georgia and concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, elder law, probate, federal income, estate and gift taxation, business law, and residential and commercial real estate. Mr. Mescher previously practiced in Peoria, Illinois, for 18 years before relocating his practice to Washington, Illinois, on December 1, 1998. He was also formerly with the tax staff of major public accounting firm in Atlanta, Georgia, and has been a part-time instructor at Illinois Central College teaching courses in taxation and estate planning. Mr. Mescher is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and is a frequent lecturer for various civic and professional organizations, as well as for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the National Business Institute.  He has also authored chapters on the formation of limited liability companies in Illinois for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education. He served for six years as a board member of the Illinois Central College Educational Foundation as well as its President during his last year on the board.  Mr. Mescher has also served as President of the Rotary Club of Washington, Illinois. ANDREW S.
